“BEST BY A DAM SITE” Oroville Toastmasters meets every Wednesday at 12 noon until 1pm at the Butte County Office building at 202 Mira Loma Drive in the Tahoe Room.
Our club has specifically scheduled the meetings for the lunch hour to accommodate the Butte County lunch crowd. We are grateful to meet in County facilities which offer a very professional meeting atmosphere with excellent audio/visual equipment, a quiet environment, good access, abundant parking….and a diverse membership.
Our club membership is diverse and always in flux. Cowboy poets, Life Coaches, Seamen, Writers, Real Poets, County employees, Educators, Spiritual guides, Real Estate agents, Retirees, Students, Clowns, Survivalists, and even an occasional Attorney have crossed our threshold. Some have been members for 40 years…some stay just long enough to make that speech they got volunteered for.
Whatever the reasons for your interest, the Toastmaster approach is a proven method. While you will probably not be making a TED Talk soon, you will realize quickly a confidence in your communication skills that frees you to say what really is on your mind.
Come see what we are about!
